:: Roundel center medallion in starburst relief adorned at either end by trefoil finials with interior floral cross-sections atop an open field with corner spandrel overlays reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Main border in a thick banded meandering vine arabesque and floral palmette design motif. Colors and shades include: Silver, oxidized silver, antique ivory, beige, coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One minor blemish to the reverse side, approximately 3" x 5". For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Sparta carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 6'8" x 10'2".
